Hello! My name is Julia. Thank you so much for stopping by! I am a full time photographer who grew up in small town Missouri which literally had only one gas station and one of the most beautiful state parks that I still come back to often for photos!

I love traveling, pasta, movie nights, sweet tea, hiking, camping,  and just being in nature, nothing beats it!

I am a natural light photographer and have been in photography for 12 years now. In 2006 I spent the summer apprenticing with NC based nature photographer, Emmett Westbrook, also known as my great uncle. He taught me the basics! I also spent 5 years learning at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. While no form of learning is a waste of time, I think some of the best things I have learned have been self taught! The day I stop learning something about photography is the day I set my camera down for good!
